Condolences

Condolence From: Ted Sarandis
Condolence: Uncle John-

Just a sincere word of thanks for being a wonderful Uncle & friend over many years.

I will always remember the wonderful dinners we used to enjoy with your wife & my Aunt Mary.

You were always the most upbeat, positive, high energy guy I have ever known. No one ever had a bad word to say about you.

I will remember forever sitting next to you the night Northeastern won their first ever Beanpot Hockey Tournament at the old Garden back in 1980 & how happy you were!

I know how proud you were to have served with distinction with the 2nd Infantry Division, U S Army during World War II in France & Germany. Being a recipient of the Bronze Star is a tremendous honor I know meant a lot to you.

Thank you for serving our country during a time of war as a member of the "Greatest Generation"!

Our country has a great challenge moving forward with the loss of so many of the WWII "Greatest Generation." Going forward, I hope we can find men like you!

Thanks again for being a wonderful & supportive Uncle & friend!

My wife Mary-Ellen sends her love.

You lived a long life, but we are still saddened by news of your passing!

May Your Memory Be Eternal
